Interite played an integral role in delivering state-of-the-art laboratory spaces for Australia’s pioneering hydrogen fuel cell research and development facility. Known as the Hycel Technology Hub, this bespoke facility spans 2200m² and is dedicated to hydrogen research, testing, and training. Situated at Deakin’s Warrnambool campus, it stands as Australia’s inaugural hydrogen fuel cell research, prototyping, and fabrication facility, aiming to drive the advancement of next-generation higher power fuel cells. The design of the hub emphasizes connectivity between research, industry, and community, with a focus on inclusive design and fostering collaboration between educational and research spaces.
