Prior to joining Interite, she was as an executive assistant at Guggenheim Investment Bank in New York. Based in Melbourne, Junko is an Interior Designer with over 20 years of experience across healthcare, aged care, residential and hospitality design. After studying Interior Design in Melbourne, she began her career in Tokyo before returning to Australia to build a diverse portfolio.

Junko is known for her user-focused approach and thoughtful use of colour, contributing to award-winning projects. For the past decade, she has co-led a boutique practice specialising in residential projects including ageing-in-place projects, creating spaces that balance practicality, beauty, and meaningful client outcomes.
