The fit-out for Coastal Orthopaedics emphasises the importance of dynamic and innovative medical design to create a consultancy that provides a point of difference from traditional medical environments, whilst still respecting the location of Murdoch Health. The aesthetic goals of the project were to create a space that emits a hospitable atmosphere, with a sophisticated sense of professionalism, elegance and opulence with a user-focused perspective. This design concept successfully allows the clinicians to have further access to more consult and operational space, different environments and the increased connection to their PA. This ultimately offers an activity-based healthcare environment based on supporting both the clinicians and the patients through the maximisation of efficiency, workflow and improved service delivery.
