Interite partnered with Access Health to deliver a unified healthcare hub in Doncaster, Victoria consolidating three separate services into one adaptive, community-focused facility. The 1,200 sqm fitout was shaped through an extensive co-design process, ensuring every stakeholder’s needs were considered from the outset.
Supporting a broad range of services including general practice, counselling, podiatry, pathology and allied health, the interior was informed by workshops with staff, carers and clients. These insights led to trauma-informed planning, intuitive zoning and flexible consult rooms, with Indigenous artwork, wayfinding and signage embedded to support cultural inclusivity and emotional clarity.
Site constraints like irregular geometry, low ceiling heights and multiple entry points were met with thoughtful spatial solutions. Finishes aligned with Access Health’s visual identity, and staff areas were positioned to enhance daily wellbeing.
Delivered on time and on budget within five months, the result is a calm, resilient and inclusive space purpose-built for care, collaboration and community.
