The new Headspace Mental Health and Wellbeing precinct in Osborne Park is a 1000m2 communal comfort zone designed with clinical and office use in mind. A space where everyone can feel at home. Privacy, style and comfort are all considered when designing the layout and workflow of these important spaces. A large open entrance and a expansive courtyard are just some of the key features essential to maintaining a positive and productive wellbeing environment. Colours and styles were chosen by local members of the public, giving our design team direction for the overall feel. There are plenty of confidential consult rooms, of varying sizes and collaborative meeting rooms across both floors. Workstations are allocated to Level 1, providing privacy to clients and assisting with acoustic needs for clinical and administrative tasks in a mixed-use building. Working collaboratively with Co-design, the space was tailored to suit the community to create a place where all are welcome and feel at home.
