Nexus Primary Health is a leading provider of primary and community health services designed to support you to live well in your community. Nexus Primary Health engaged Interite to create a space that would cater for their increase in company growth and to improve on the flow of their current facility.
Some important features that needed to be included in the new design included a Human Centred Design focused around providing the ideal client experience, a more collaborative working environment for their staff and a flexible design that would allow the business to provide a range of different services to the community.
Interite were able to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ design and construct process for this project. This not only saved time and money for Nexus Primary Health but also allowed for a seamless transition from the design phase to the construction phase and put the client’s mind at ease from liaising with various contractors, builders and suppliers.
The new 1200m2 site included 260m2 extensions to provide sufficient room for company growth. The space was divided into two main sections, the collaborative staff zone and the client services zone. The collaborative staff zone included open plan workstations divided into teams, conference room, staff breakout space, printing utilities and locker storage. The client services zone included a pathology, podiatry, counselling rooms, consult rooms, treatment room physio, community room, children’s health rooms and a multipurpose room. These two spaces are tied together with a central reception and waiting area with amenity facilities.
